Sampling Preparation

The process of bringing samples to the state necessary for analysis / testing.

Sample preparation involves:

• mixing;
• grinding;
• crushing the sample;
• and, sometimes, drying in air and can be carried out in several stages.

The main goal of preparing samples for analysis in the laboratory, as a rule, is to make sample homogeneous, which ensures the representativeness and reproducibility of the analyzes.
